Reigning ‘MX1 powered by Apico’ British Champion Conrad Mewse got the defence of his title off to a perfect start in Shropshire, winning both races on his Crendon Tru7 Honda – the first by a massive 36 seconds!
In the Motul MX2 category, Billy Askew and Bobby Bruce shared the spoils in both the main and U21 championships. They won a race a piece, while Tommy Searle climbed onto the podium in both races as well.
Ryan Waggott dominated in the ‘125cc powered by RFX’ series, winning both races to take maximum points. Hayden Statt also showed well, finishing on the podium in both 10-lap races.
