Red Bull KTM rider Jeffrey Herlings was the man to beat in ‘MX1 powered by Apico’ as he powered to another pair of wins in Scotland. However, it was Conrad Mewse and Crendon TRU7 Honda who stole the bigger prize as they wrapped up another British MXGB title with a round to spare.
Oriol Oliver took the first Motul MX2 win on day two in Duns, while British teenager Joe Brookes led every lap in race 2 to secure his first MXGB victory ahead of series leader Tommy Searle and Oliver. Searle’s results give him a 29-point lead heading into the final round of the season at Lyng.
A brace of hard-earned ‘125cc powered by RFX’ wins gave Yamaha rider Charlie Richmond a 29-point series lead heading into the final round of the season. Ryan Waggott – who led both races in the early stages – finished second overall, ahead of Drew Stock.
