Duns TV programme goes live on Tuesday!

08 May 2010

Go Back With a quick turn around from filming to transmission, the first airing of round three of the championship, held at Duns on Bank Holiday Sunday, will be screened this week. The first showing is scheduled for Tuesday (11th May) at 7pm on Sky Sports 4, with a repeat the same evening at 11pm on Sky Sports 3. If you miss either of these, there are two further programmes the following day, Wednesday, at 8am in the morning and again at noon on Sky Sports 2. If you miss either of these watch out for two final repeats on the 16th May at 7am (SS4) and the following day at 2.30am on SS2.

All of these transmissions will show the best racing of the season, on a superbly prepared track at Duns, in the Scottish Borders. Organised by the Borders MXC, nothing was left to chance and the track provided many overtaking opportunities. Although Zach Osborne won every session ( Q1, Q2 and 3 motos) there is plenty of action further down the field and look out for the big "Superman" crash by Neville Bradshaw on the big uphill jump! There is also the frustration of Jake Nicholls mechanical failure, right in front of the mechanics signalling area.

With commentary by Dave Moore, the MX1 races are electric. You will see the "get off" which probably stopped Evgeny Bobreshev's clean sweep in the races, and wheel to wheel racing between the top ten contenders. The final race action focuses on reigning champion, Brad Anderson, with his on and off track antics and 110% effort to gain more points having to climb through the field from 16th on the opening lap.

Once again the programme is presented by Emma Still, who also conducts a short interview with Josh Coppins.
