Backing for Blaxhall!

24 May 2019

Go Back Itís hard to believe but in just nine daysí time the 2019 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean will reach the halfway mark with round four at the brilliant Blaxhall circuit in Suffolk on June 2.

The organising Woodbridge DMCC is a club thatís never been backwards when it comes to going forwards and this year will be aiming for its fourth consecutive Maxxis Organiser of the Year award.

As well as staging slickly-run, super-smooth events, bringing in outside sponsors is one of the things thatís high of the clubís to-do list and this year the event will benefit from additional sponsorship from SMT GB, Steve Lumley Planing Ltd and Foxwood Trade.

SMT GB markets Volvo construction equipment and has a strong connection to motorcycle sport as a sponsor of the Buildbase Honda team.

Steve Lumley Planing Ltd is a long-time backer of the event and will provide 100 tonnes of road planings to help the club with the infrastructure of the facility by improving access and existing roadways at the venue.

The man at the helm of Foxwood Trade needs no introduction to motocross fans in the South East. Ex-racer Matt Cottrell is a life-long supporter of the sport and father of former British MX2 front-runner and EMX250 competitor James.

Blaxhall will be signposted off the A12. Use the postcode IP17 1LG. Admission prices are £20 for adults and £5 for children aged five to 15 with a family ticket priced at £45. Practice starts at 9am with the first race of the day at 11am.
