Awesome Ando!

26 May 2017

Go Back Massive congratulations to Brad Anderson who swept to a commanding win at the opening round of the EMX300 championship at Teutschenthal on Sunday.

Ando, who’s currently sitting fourth in the MX1 class of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean, smashed out a dynamite double in Germany on the Verde Racing KTM two-stroke.

In a poignant victory speech the 35-year-old – pictured above in action at Hawkstone Park – then dedicated his win to close friend Tom Brown who lost his life in a practice crash last month.

“I felt great both days and I just wish Tom Brown could have been here,” he said. “He'd have loved it and the win is dedicated to Tom.”

The Maxxis series connection doesn’t end there as second overall with a 2-2 card was GL12 KTM’s tall Dutchman Mike Kras who is currently unbeaten in the British Two-stroke Championship and, to top off a great weekend for Bob Buchanan, his team-mate James Dunn was seventh.

Round two of the Euro series is scheduled for Russia on June 11 and Ando has already said that he won’t be able to attend. However, there is a possibility this will be cancelled which means he could be carrying the red plate at Ottobiano on June 25.
